Stored Vehicle
A vehicle which has been removed from a highway, public or private property under legal authority for the purpose of providing safe custody and is subject to an unconditional release.
Impounded Vehicle
An impounded vehicle is one which has been removed from a Highway, public or private property, under legal authority, and is subject to a conditional release.
Recovered Vehicle
A vehicle or component there of which has been located and identified as a vehicle which has been previously reported stolen or embezzled.
