Uranus

Uranus

Gaea created Uranus as her equal, then married him. He ruled everything that came into being. They then had three immortal children, the Three-Handed Giants. Their next immortal children were the cyclopes. Uranus hated all their children because he feared they would overthrow him and take away his power. So he took them from Gaea and threw them into the Underworld, ruled by Tartarus. Gaea was furious and missed her children. Then, Gaea birthed the twelve Titans and decided to finally take revenge over what Uranus did to their children. She asked the twelve Titans if anyone was willing to help her, but the only one courageous enough was the youngest, Kronos. One night, Kronos took a blade and chopped his immortal father into pieces and the pieces fell into the sea, and from that Aphrodite (the goddess of love and desire) was born.
Kronos

Kronos

Since Kronos overpowered his father, he knew it was his fate for one of his children to do the same to him. He did not want this to happen, so every time his wife, Rhea birthed a child, he would swallow them up. In desperation, Rhea asked his mother Gaea to help her stop Kronos from swallowing all of their children. Gaea devised a plan in which they would switch the infant Zeus for a rock, then make Kronos throw up using a drink. When Kronos was resting in the sun, Zeus came by and gave him a drink. Kronos drinks it and asks why "a strange boy" gave him a drink. Rhea stayed quiet. Kronos began to feel sick and eventually threw up all the children he had swallowed up. Rhea told him what was going on and he said, "Anyone who wants to rule in my place will have to fight me, and all of the other Titans, too!" So then the titans rose up out of the ground and they all fought for 10 years. Gaea decided to free the Hundred-Handed Giants and the Cyclopes, whom Uranus and Kronos had kept imprisoned beneath the ground at the borders of the earth. One of the cyclopes wanted to thank each of them for their freedom and gave them a gift, a power. That's how they overpowered Kronos.

Zeus

Zeus

Zeus married his sister Hera and they had 7 kids together. Zeus set free to the monsters and the cyclopes and together they won the war with Kronos. He became ruler of all gods.

Prometheus

Prometheus

Prometheus was "the creator" of all living things. He was afraid that man would sacrifice all their food to the gods and not have any food for themselves. Later, Prometheus told Zeus he would meet a girl but he didn't tell him who or when and it tortured him.

Pandora

Hephaestus created Pandora, a beautiful mortal. Zeus gave her a sealed jar, but Hermes made her inquisitive and she opened the jar. Sorrows and Sickness flew out, but Hope never escaped the jar. Epithemeus married Pandora. Athena gave her love, desire and made her a source of sorrow for men. Then Hermes brought Pandora to Earth because she was created as a mortal, after all.

Demeter

Persephone is Demeter's daughter. Demeter is the goddess of corn and crops, while Persephone takes care of flowers. One day, Persephone found a weird bush she didn't like and she tried to pull it out. Instead of pulling her out, Zeus is under the bush and kidnaps Persephone. Zeus gave Persephone many gifts trying to make her fall in love with him. Demeter wanted her daughter back and Zeus said that she could have her but only if Persephone didn't eat anything in the Underworld. Persephone was really hungry and tired and missed her mother. There was a boy in the garden which was killed after Demeter turned him into a lizard because of anger. He gave Persephone 6 pomegranate seeds, and because of that, no flowers grow.

Medusa

Medusa thought she was the most beautiful girl in the world. She had long golden hair, beautiful white skin, rosy red lips, and big green eyes. She would boast about her appearance to anyone who would listen, and if there was no one, she would look in the mirror and talk to herself about how beautiful she was. One day, Medusa and her friends went to Parthenon and saw Athena.

Midas

Midas loved gold. He hated Apollo because he went around sprinkling gold on the land and gave none to him. Apollo got tired of his complaining and granted Midas a wish. Midas wished for the golden touch. He woke up and realized it was just a dream but he tested it, and it was true! So he went around turning things into gold and his daughter got upset because he turned her lovely garden into gold and she couldn't smell them anymore. Midas couldn't even drink or eat. Apollo said to him, "If you bathe in the river water and sprinkle the water on things you'd like to turn back, they will go back to normal." Midas did this and he was very happy.

Orpheus

Orpheus was amazing at playing music and he got impossibly better as he grew. When he played, people, animals, plants would follow him as he played. There was one follower that was always there. The person was a beautiful girl named Eurydice. They grew up together and fell in love. They got married and lived together and Orpheus never went outside his house anymore and people were curious about his life. Aristeus followed Eurydice around and attacked her. He startled her, making her run into a pile of snakes. Eurydice died, and Orpheus is devastated. He goes to the underworld playing, and put every being into a hypnotized state so they'd let him through. He finally got to Hades, king of the underworld, and since Orpheus played so beautifully, he let him have back Eurydice but only if Orpheus never looked back. Orpheus was curious if Eurydice was actually there and he looked back, and her hand and see through body faded away.

Echo saw Zeus flirting with someone and Echo covered for him, so he gave her his beautiful emerald ring. Aphrodite saw this and got jealous. She made Aphrodite invisible and made Narcissus fall in love with his own reflection. He stayed looking at his reflection and soon died there.
