In house, men & women wore sandals - shoes outside.

Women wore ribbons & pins in their hair.
Women not cut hair short.
Jewelry
Men & women of richer classes wore rings - gold.
Women wore decorative pin, fibula, to fasten tunics or shawls. Stones & cameos.
Women wore necklaces, chains, bracelets, earrings.
Kohl
Women blackened eyelids, eye lashes, and eyebrows with kohl.
Henna
Henna used to dye nails and palms & soles of the feet.
White lead or chalk
White lead or chalk whitened face.
Rouge
Rouge applied to cheeks & lips.
Balsam
Balsam perfume & rosewater popular with men & women.
