What is the population trend in China?
The law is “one child per family” because they are trying to restrict their population growth because they had such a big population boom in the 1980’s
What is the population trend in much of Europe?
Their population is aging because they are having fewer (than 2.1) babies. So some governments are trying to five incentives for having children- better healthcare and childcare, paying bonuses for having a baby, giving long paid maternity leave

They have a high population density – it is very crowded. Their population is declining, but it is still very crowded.
