Data Type
The process of copying data from an Access table of query to another database or to another type of file such as an Excel worksheet.
Export
The name by which Access recognizes a data field.
Field Name

A relationship between two tables in which each table has only one related record in the other table.
One-to-one Relationship
Records ina related table that are left unrelated if their related record in the primary table is deleted or changed so that the relationship is broked.
Orphan
One or more fields in a table whose values uniquely identify each record.
Primary Key
The table on the "one" side of one-to-many relationship.
Primary Table
A system of rules that Access uses to ensure that relationships between records in related tables are valid.
Referential Integrity
The table on the "many" side of a one-to-many relationship.
Related Table
The association between two tables that share a field with matching values the matching fields allow the tables to be joined so that a query can selected data from both tables.
Relationship
A datasheet that is nested within another datasheet and contains records related to the records in the datasheet in which it is nested.
Subdatasheet
