What is the function of the Dorsal Aorta?
Carries blood from the aortic arch (aorta) along the dorsal side.
What is the function of the Caudal (Inferior) Vena Cava?
It is the major vein returning blood from the lower extremities and from the abdominal area and enters the heart via the right atrium.
What is the function of the Cranial (Superior) Vena Cava?
It is the major vein returning blood from the upper extremities including the head and enters the heart via the right atrium.
