Democracy

officials are elected to make decisions on peoples behalf, individuality & freedom of expression are valued.


Advantages


- people choose their leader


- can re- elect new leaders

- minority loses out


- have to wait util end of term to elect new leader

Constitutional Monarchy

parliament & monarch rule together under the law.


Advantages


- gov. has limited power, made sure they don't misuse it


- peoples concerns are addressed

- decision making process slow (vastly negotiate)

government owns all property & land. In theory everyone is "equal".

- everyone is seen as equal


- loyalty brings people together

- ruler takes on dictator role


- decisions not supported by people
