To facilitate delivery, it should be swallowd while the patient is in an upright position and with a full glass of plain water. Patient should not lie down for 30 minutes after taking the medication. Patient should receive supplemental Ca++ and Vitamin D if dietary intake is inadequate. They should be taken at a different time of the day. Actonel is not recommended for use in patients with severe renal impairment. |
