Discontinue 72 hrs prior to periods of prolonged immobilization. Avoid prolonged restrictions of movement during travel. Take Ca or vit D supp if intake is inadequate. Report any signs of blood clots. These include pains in calves or leg swelling, sudden chest pain, shortness of breath or coughing blood, changes in vision. Discontinue if pregnancy is suspected.
