Nothing really, It takes weeks for the the thyroid function to fall because the TH hangs around in the blood

Carpal pedal spasm. When the hand goes into tetany when the blood pressure cough is put on. Indicative of more severe hypocalcemia

Low iodine diet and TSH the two weeks leading up to it - to starve the thyroid of iodine so it takes up the maximum amount possible
