is to maintain a balance between both assimilation and accommodation , and that's prof or a key to intellectual growth
3. Piaget's Stages of Development
sensorimotor, preoperational, concrete, and formal
1. sensorimotor stage
from birth to age almost 2 year
2. preoperational stage
from 2 year to 7 year
3. concrete operational stage
from 7 year to 11 year
4. formal operational stage
from 11 year to onward
4. Sensorimotor
age 0 to 2
1. coordination of sensory abilities with physical abilities
infant respond only to what they see not to what they remeber.
2. reflex behavior
like grasping, rooting, moto reflex
1. grasping
simple motor responses to sensory stimuli
2. rooting
simple motor responses to sensory stimuli
3. Moro reflex
simple motor responses to sensory stimuli
