Under the law, the covenant of grace was administered by promises, prophecies, sacrifices, circumcision, the paschal lamb, and other types delivered to the Jews. All of which pointed towards the coming Christ,

Under the gospel, the covenant of grace, now that Christ has come, is administered through the preaching of the Word, and the administration of the sacraments.

Describe the dual nature of Christ.

Christ has two whole and distinct natures, Godhead and manhood, inseparably joined together in one person. This is done so with any composition or confusion.

Describe the will of man in the state of innocence, in the state of sin, and in the state of glory.

In the state of innocence, man was able to sin. In the state of sin, it is not possible for man not to sin. In the state of glory, it is not possible for man to sin.

Who is the Holy Spirit? What is his role in the life of a believer?

The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Godhead. The Holy Spirit makes us alive and leads us into all truth through the illumination of Scripture.

Describe briefly what happens to the body and the soul of both the sinner and the saint at death.

The soul of the saint is ushered immediately to the presence of the Lord. He will be rejoined with his body, resurrected ad glorified , on the day of Christ.

The soul of the sinner is deliver to hell for destruction. He will be rejoined with his body on the day of Christ.
