Evaporation.

The sun's energy causes water from oceans, rivers, etc to evaporate up into the air as water vapor.

Condensation.

As the water vapor rises into the air, it cools and condenses into a cloud. Millions of little water droplets form a cloud.

Precipitation.

When the water droplets in a cloud become too heavy to where they fall as either rain, hail, sleet, or snow.

When water evaporates from plant leaves.

When water runs off land into streams and rivers.
