Land Bridge Theory

A theory that the first humans came to America across a land bridge between Asia and North America.

What direction did they migrate across the Land Bridge?

Northwest to South

When did Land Bridge migration stop, and why?

Scientists believe the migration stopped around the time the Ice Age began to end. The glaciers slowly melted, and filled the oceans with water which then completely submerged (covered with water) the land bridge.
