What is proof?
Evidence that guarentees the truth of something.
Problems with proving God's existence:
- Humans can only prove things with our physical senses.
- Anything proved with physical senses cannot be God.
- Physical beings have limitations; meaning they're not infinite.
-Evidence isn't really valid for others.
- Some people argue only logic and reason can show that God exists.
The First Cause Argument?
Known as the Cosmological Argument.
A proof for the existence of God on the idea that there had to be an uncaused cause that made everything happen.
Who must notably supported the 1st Cause?
St Thomas Aquinas (1226 - 74 CE)
