what is a light microscope?
It's one of the frist microscopes ever made and shoots visable light throw the specimen.
what is an electron microscope?
It's a microscope that uses eletrons instead of visable light. used to see really small things.
is the ER
is a network of membrane sacs and tubes. there is two froms of it smooth and rough.
Flagellum
little tiny hairs on the outside of the cell that allow the cell to move around.
centrosome
the region where the cells microtubules are initated.
cytoskeleton
reinforces the cells shape.
microvilli
they increase the cells surface area.

an organelle that produces hydrogen preoxide.
mitochondrion
it's where cellular respiration occurs and where most of the atp is produced.

it's a membranous sac of hydrolytic enzymes that digests all kinds of macromolecules.

is the center of the manufacturing warehouse where products of the ER are sorted and shiped.
ribosomes
are small organelles that make protein and they are attached to the ER and that's what make the ER rough.

the fluid surounding the cell.
nuclear envelope
is a double membrane that protects the nucleus.

invloved in the production of ribosomes.

a material consising of DNA and proteins.
Cell wall
only found in plant cells.
plasmodesmata
channels that threw the cell wall that connect the cytoplasms of adjacent cells.
chloroplast
they convert the energy of sunlight to chemical energy and sugar.
chrophyll
the green pigment in plant cells.
central vacuole
it's like a water ballon it stores water and breaks down waste products.
