What is the free card play?
It is a raise made after the flop to get a free card on the turn. It is based on the tendency of player to let the raiser of the previous round be the bettor on the next round.
What are good conditions for a free card play?
Usually a passive table, and a passive initial bettor. With a strong draw the table can be agressive, but the weaker the draw the more passive the table should be.
