ADDIE

The acronym for a commonly-used courseware creation process. The distinct stages include: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation.

Affective Domain

A division of Bloom's taxonomy addressing the learner’s interest, appreciation, attitudes, values, and/or psychological adjustment. (See Bloom’s taxonomy.)
Affordance

A visual clue to the function of an object. Examples are the push bar on a door, a cursor that changes to a hand or arrow depending on what is on the screen, or a "raised" look on a button on a website.
