MTFT is a constant pressure variable flow automatic nozzle that operates on the principal very similar to that of a pumper relief valve.

The baffle at the front of the nozzle moves to vary the discharge opening of the nozzle. In effect, the nozzle is constantly changing the tip size to match the flow of the water that is being delivered.
