The Sumerians were the first to build wheeled vehicles including carts and wagons. Using the wheel Sumerians invented a device that spins clay as a craft person shapes it into bowls and that is called the potters wheel. |

Sculptors: produced many fine works. Among them are statues of gods created for temples Cylinder: Sumers most famous work of art. the cylinder were engraved with designs. When they rolled over clay the design would leave their imprint behind.

Kings and temples would hied musicians to play on special occasions they would play: reed pipes,drums,tambourines,and stringed instruments. |
