Did you know that kids on drugs are 70% more likly to comit Suicide?
Did you know Washington has been flagged as a drug user state? Did you know most drug users start drugs in Jr. High?
Over 35% of students today are on drugs. Drugs include anything from Alcohol to morphine.
NICOTINE: is one of the worlds most canser causing products in the world. You can buy it in the form of cigarettes, cigars, and/or chewing tobacco... and can whach as your blood pressure leaps and soars into the dark abyss of space! Smokning can EASILY CAUSE DEATH!
COCAINE: has become another popular vote for young adults. They're small and come looking hardly notincable. how hard is it to cover up yellow powder right? Teens choose this alot of the time to help with weight loss and to have a good laugh but even if you're just trying this drug you may be signing your own death certificate.
CRACK: can also kill you the first time you try it. It's sorta like cocaine in the small hardly noticeable way only this time instead of powder it now looks like soap! For girls and guys alike this drug can be used for weight loss, but be ready to suffer the consequences. Any one of these drugs can lose you more than just a friend.
ALCOHOL; IS A DRUG and this can cause DEATH. Alcohol poisoning is not that rare anymore so don't drink. It can cause memory loss and disoriented behavior.
MARIJUANA:
Is becoming more common as the years pass. The dried leaf is becoming a best friend to a lot of teenagers in the big US of A. Everywhere, from N.Y. To Golden Gates of California, seem to want a bit. It can cause major brain issues, memory loss, and impaired perceptions, increased appetite, lack of motivation, I do believe these are some self explanatory things.
INHALANTS: Well again we come to a drug that is deadly. Do you ever stop to think about how deadly a can of febreeze is? I don't but according recent studies, it is. Inhaling too much can cause you over dead, make you nauseas, cause you to have nosebleeds, migraines, and/or coughing and sneezing fits.
METHAMPHETAMINES: wow now we've hit something big!! It is called meth people. Do you know what this stuff does to you? It tears you apart literally, I knew of someone who did this drug long enough, that they went broke and starved, just to use every last penny to satisfy an addiction bigger than themselves. You start off by trying a little, then you take a little more, until next thing you know, you bitten more than you can chew.
AMPHETAMINES: These tablets, pills, or capsules can easily get you nauseous and can easily get you out of school for the day. But it also can eat your braincells. The more you do this drug the more your brain gets eaten away. But wait, what would happen if your whole brain was eaten. Think about it!
Why do teens resort to drugs? Depression, peer pressure, maybe a family member does it. What can we do to help? Talk to everyone we know about drugs and the cold hard facts. Put up fliers around the city, letting everyone know what drugs can do to them. And finally we can start a drug free organization, in our school helping our peers grow up drug free.
