Medical Drug Information
Pharmacists in the Medical/Drug Information department provide efficient and unbiased medical information concerning
the company’s pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals, consumers, and internal associates. As members of
this department, pharmacists address the medical needs of the company by utilizing strong analytical skills to evaluate
medical literature, apply clinical expertise to interpret scientific data, identify and report adverse events, provide enhanced
verbal communication, and utilize comprehensive medical writing skills in response to medical inquiries from customers.
Drug Safety
This career path is responsible for the collection, reporting, surveillance, and investigation of all drug-related adverse events. This position allows for daily interaction with consumers and patients, as well as other health care professionals.
Medical and Scientific Affairs
Pharmacists in the Scientific Affairs department develop and coordinate the
implementation of medically accurate and credible medical education programs,
and serve as scientific resources to communicate product information to external
customers at various off-site promotional and educational programs. As medical
representatives in this department, pharmacists also assist in national marketing
operations and monitor scientific publications to identify new information
strategically relevant to the company’s pharmaceutical products.
