As I lay dying, I couldn't help but be annoyed by how raspy my voice sounded as I spoke my last words: "I forgot your lactose-free milk."

My favorite TV ship died recently and it just so happened to involve a counterfeit restaurant currency that got someone briefly arrested. I cried. Things haven't been the same since.

At this time, I was still a little vulnerable from mourning the dead ship, but I was still a little confident that it would return.

Half of the dead ship had disappeared for career trash, and the other half was sent into crippling depression. after he got over it (which took a while), he attended a New Year's masquerade party and ran into an old friend who had non-mutual feelings for him.

Their looks were feigned due to the masks, so they did not recognize each other. That made it especially awkward, especially since his old friend kissed him at midnight. After everyone took off their masks, things got REALLY awkward, and the girl took off out of embarrassment.

Levity (noun)

Lightness of manner of speech; especially when inappropriate

He put a lot of effort into avoiding her, but that didn't exactly work out since they ended up seeing each other in several places after that. If he was ever forced to talk to her, he used significant amounts of levity to avoid making a mess of things.

Copied and passed off as your own

Most of his emotions were plagiarized; he was constantly putting on a fake smile since he was REALLY bad at talking to people, especially in awkward situations.

The two of them had been equally marred about something. He was still upset about the dead ship that had happened not terribly long ago, and she was upset at how he had misinterpreted her feelings and turned her down.

This awkwardness was prolonged for a really long time. Like, seriously. It was almost painful to watch.

My thoughts about this were anything but bizarre; it's very common for me to invest heavy emotions into pointless things.

Keenly perceptive or discerning; extremely sharp or severe

Soon after the awkwardness began, they resolved it and became friends again. My acute sense of hatred towards their indirect flirtation make me wanna break more chairs. It was too soon, only half a season had passed since the first ship died and this one began.

Reproach (verb)

To bring shame upon; disgrace

I knew I was angry for the silliest reason, and I knew I was reproaching myself during this entire thing. I couldn't help it.
