Get the package of seeds.

Read the seed package label for planting directions. Keep the package safe and dry.

Get a pot or seed flat and prepare it to plant your seed.

Use a sharpie to mark a label with the seed name and date you plant it.

Lay the seed on top of the seed starting soil.

Gently put seed starting mix on top of the soil two times the thickness of the seed.

Gently water the seed.
