How should you operate the Bomb Bay Door?

They receive sounds in the ocean and transmit them to the aircraft.
The onboard processor converts the sound energy at the acoustic operator's station.
What do Active buoys do?
They transmit a pulse of sound underwater that will echo off nearby subs.
What do Passive buoys do?
They are underwater microphones that listen to all sounds in the water.
What do Special Purpose buoys do?
They are BT (bathythermograph) buoys which measure the ocean temperature
