What is an organ system?


Give an example.

A group or organs and tissues that work together to carry out a life process.


Example: Your mouth, stomach, intestines and other organs work together to digest food.

How do muscles work in pairs to move a bone?

Muscles pull on different sides of the bone to move it. Muscles never push on bones.

How do your nerves and muscles work together?

Nerves carry electrical signals from your brain to your muscles to tell them to move.
