Prediction
A statement of cause and effect usually in If-Then format.
Steps of Scientific Method
1. Recognize a problem/Ask a question
2. Research/Make observations 3. Form a hypothesis 4. Test hypothesis 5. Analyze data 6. Draw conclusions 7. Share information |
Steps of Scientific Method explained
Scientiic methods often include the same steps, but the steps may not be used in the same order everytime.
Controlled Experiment
Test only one factor at a time and has a control group and 1 or more experimental groups.
Variable

Inference

An explanation of you observation.
Observation
The use of you senses to gather information.

Dependent variable
