Biotic factor definition, a living thing, as an animal or plant, that influences or affects an ecosystem.





Abiotic Factors

Abiotic factors are all of the non-living things in an ecosystem.

Organism

An organism is any contiguous living system, such as an animal, plant or bacterium.

Population

A population is a summation of all the organisms of the same group or species, which live in a particular geographical area, and have the capability of interbreeding.

Community

A group of people living in the same place or having a particular characteristic in common.
