Choreographic Forms
The structure of a dance composition, such as AB, ABA, call and response, narrative.

A logical sequence of movements with an observable beginning, middle, and end.
Time
The relationship of one movement or part of a movement to another.
Pulse
The ongoing underlying beat.
Speed
How fast or slow the movement is.

The length of time the movement lasts

Flow
Bound or free. Flow has to do with the ongoing of movement when energy is released freely, we describe the movement as free flow, when energy is released in a controlled, restrained manner, the movement is bound.
Weight
Strength (force) or lightness.
Space
This is where the body moves. It is the medium of dance, like a canvas is to an artist. Dancers move through it - their bodies create patterns on the floor and in the air.
Focus
where the eyes or the intention of the movement is directed.
