Documant A- Social Hiearchy
Daimyos are Feudal lords who often fought each other. Est. 250 in 1600.
Lords recieve land from the king also recieved land from wealthier lords and owned military service.

The daimyos and lords are similar because they both are like leaders and they payed the samurai or knights to fight for their land that they owned. they were in the same place in the social order pyrimid,

The Japanease and European lords both served loyalty from someone above them. They also had to keep land that the king or a leader gave them.

The Lords of the Japanease and European are similar because they both had to recieve orders from the people above them and needed people to protct their land, such as the samurai and knights.

Samurai training started at a young age. they went to a school to learn and study the physical training.
Knights training started at a young age at 4 or 5 and learned how to ride a pony. and there are other level that the samurai and knights must do to become official.

the samurai and knights are similar because at the age of 14 they were raised a level. Either to become a squire (knight), or have a ceremony that they had to live by while they are a samurai.

The armor of the samurai had plates for the body and a helmet mostly made of iron.
The knights armor had suits of plates, and also had helmets, made from steel.

The code of Bushido. Samurai must have loyalty to a master above him.
The code of Chivarly is when a knight has to be loyal to the king. If either knight or samurai does wrong they will be punished.

Th codes of the samurai and knights are similar because theyhave to follow a special code to show that they can be trust worthy and faithful to anyone.

The samurai had poems are about, one day you are here and the next you aren't.
The knight's poems are about, death is like any other day... no big deal.
