Members shall not bring or cause to be brought into quarters any firearms; bladed weapons; intoxicating liquor; or illegal drug, compound or substance as defined by the federal government's Controlled Substances Act.

Members are subject to random drug and alcohol tests while on duty. Members who refuse to be tested when called shall be considered to have tested positive and are subject to dismissal.

Members shall not be under the influence of any intoxicating liquor or illegal drug, compound, or substance while reporting for duty, while on duty or in uniform, nor shall they absent themselves from duty or render themselves unfit to fully perform their duties for reasons attributable to or produced by indulgence in such intoxicants.

When reasonable cause indicates that members may be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor or illegal drug, compound, or substance while reporting for duty or in uniform, the Department may require them to submit to a physical examination or appropriate tests administered by the Department of Health or other authorized persons to determine whether or not they are under the influence of such intoxicants. Refusal to submit to such examination or tests shall be cause for disciplinary action

Lockers, closets, and other storage facilities provided for members' personal use shall not be used to store prohibited items or to promote prohibited Department activities. The Department may inspect personal lockers, closets and storage facilities when reasonable cause indicates that such facilities are being used for prohibited purposes.

Members shall not sexually harass another member or individual who has direct or indirect business with the Department.
