2. Mucolytic drug that will break down the mucous plugs, esp in CF ptx -- in addition it is used to regenerate gluthione in acetaminophen overdose allowing it to neutralize the metabolite.
3.Coiedine (opoid) analog that blocks the NMDA receptors = decrease in pain and ANTI-TUSSENT
-mild abuse potential, use naloxene to Tx OD since its an opoid antagonist
Nasal Decongestants
