My research topic is about making memories and keeping memories. This is an important topic to me because this is something that I enjoy doing. I figured that if I had to do research about something it should be something that is important to me.

First Slide:

Making memories isn't just taking a photo of what you had for break feast for the last three weeks. no one cares about that idek why people post photos like that, personally i think that's dumb. Take photos with people and at events,

When you take a photo it should be of something that you want to remember. For example something big like going to a concert with your friends. Or something as little as walking somewhere or visiting family. Eventually when you get older you lose friends either because you drifted or you got into an argument.

Or maybe something unfortunate like a family member dieing. Even though photos dont replace them you still have the memory.Nothing last forever so appreciate what you have while you still have it.

Slide 2:

these are photos of movies and one show that are examples of why it is important to hold on to memories. memories aren't always something you can hold like a photo, or watch like a video. Sometimes its just remembering one of the best or worst moments by being with someone.

whether its with friends , family or even a stranger. Like the green mile, Paul Edgecomb (tom hanks character) didn't even know john Coffey (Michael Clark Duncan's character). But Paul will never forget John Coffey not only because of his power of healing, but because of the person he was.

Slide 2 con't:

Most of these movies here have characters that go through something hard, but learn to/try to recover form it. In the movie we are your friends, cole's friend squirrel dies. After this his other two friends ollie and mason stop talking because they blamed each other for his death. In step up, Luke focuses on getting his friends into a dance competition and ends up getting kicked out of not only their club but their home as well.

In stand by me , is a movie about these four boys who go on an adventure to find a dead body. Chris talks about how he doesn't like his negative reputation of being a thief and being the brother of eyeball chambers, who was also a thief. At the end of the movie we find out that chris dies because his throat was slit while trying to break up a fight. Gordy talks missing.

slide 3:

the most common way of keeping memories is photos. keeping photos is common but can be done differently.some people put photos in albums, stick them on walls or lockers, or in this persons case. my mom does the same thing. I keep my photos in a scrapbook and have some on my wall.

slide 4:

other people like to keep other forms of memorabilia. like writing notes to their future kids. or write notes to their child as they are growing. some like to keep memory boxes or time capsules with letters, photos, clothes and such inside. some people like to keep plane/ bus tickets from places they've traveled to. or movie tickets, that's something i like to keep.

slide 5:

Keeping memories is important to me because you never know how long things will last. so you have to appreciate everything you have while you still have it. and because i am a very forgetful person, i would like to remember people and moments. when i print out my photos i write descriptions on the back to remember what happened.
