Causes of the Renaissance
The population began to grow again. Wealth increased, ideas were exchanged through trade. Artists and scholars traveled between Italy and the North. Printing Press made book making easier, and ideas spread with printed material. North European artists brought back ideas from Italy

A Renaissance man, he was a painter, sculptor, inventor and scientist, in which excelled in all of those fields, etc.

Idea was from China with movable characters (words, letters, etc.)
Greek and Roman manuscripts were copied so that hundreds of copies were made so that people could access it also.
With books being cheap, made people want to read, thus getting more education.

The home language of the writers.
i.e. if from Rome, people would write in Latin.

A book that Machiavelli wrote stating that it is better to be feared than loved.
Also said humans were basically selfish, fickle, and corrupt.
