What is the ascention?
Christ's return to the Father.
What does the Paschal Mystery refer to?
Thepassion,death,resurrection,and the ascention of Christ.
What did Jesus' apostles do when he was condemned to death?
All of them but one ran and hid.
What is God's Providence?
God's providence is his personal concer for each of his creatures.
What did Jesus mean when he said the Kingdom of God?
He used it often in his preaching and teaching but never difined it.
What was the Kingdom of God the symbol of?
It was a symbol of reminding everyone that God was the Lord of the universe, who would take care of his people and bring them to salvation.
What was the fisrt important truth?
Only by a life united to Jesus will we ever reach the Father's house-heaven, our true home. Jesus said "No one comes to the Father except through me."
What was the second important truth?
Not only are we to be aware of our life in union whith Christ, but we are also required to live it in a practical way. This we do by loving action and service on behalf of others every day. Jesus said, "This is my commandment: love one another as I love you."
What is the last important truth?
Because we are united in faith and Baptism, our lives are Christ-filled. Jesus said, " I am in my Father and you are in me and I in you."
Why were the gospels and the New Testament written?
To celebrate the paschal mystery and to share the good news of Christ in the light of the resurrection.
