D&C 21:4-6
4Wherefore, meaning the church, thou shalt give aheed unto all his words and bcommandments which he shall give unto you as he receiveth them, walking in all choliness before me;
5For his aword ye shall receive, as if from mine own mouth, in all patience and faith.

6For by doing these things the agates of hell shall not prevail against you; yea, and the Lord God will disperse the powers ofbdarkness from before you, and cause the heavens to cshake for your dgood, and his name’s eglory.
D&C 1:38
38What I the Lord have spoken, I have spoken, and I excuse not myself; and though the heavens and the earth pass away, myaword shall not pass away, but shall all be bfulfilled, whether by mine own cvoice or by the dvoice of my eservants, it is the fsame.
D&C 68:2-4
2And, behold, and lo, this is an ensample unto all those who were ordained unto this priesthood, whose mission is appointed unto them to go forth—
3And this is the aensample unto them, that they shall bspeak as they are moved upon by the Holy Ghost.
4And whatsoever they shall speak when moved upon by theaHoly Ghost shall be scripture, shall be the will of the Lord, shall be the mind of the Lord, shall be the word of the Lord, shall be the voice of the Lord, and the bpower of God unto salvation.
D&C 107:91-92
91And again, the duty of the President of the office of the High Priesthood is to apreside over the whole church, and to be like untobMoses—
92Behold, here is wisdom; yea, to be a aseer, a brevelator, a translator, and a cprophet, having all the dgifts of God which he bestows upon the head of the church.
Amos 3:7
7Surely the Lord God will do nothing, abut he brevealeth hiscsecret unto his servants the dprophets.

Prophetic Voice
First, the keys and the authority of God have been given by Him to Joseph Smith and each of his successors who have been called as Presidents of the Church.
○ Keys to the 12
Second, those keys and authority are never to be given to another people, and those who have such authority are “known to the Church”.
○ Keys never given to others unless known
Third, continuing revelation and leadership for the Church comes through the President of the Church, and he will never mislead the Saints.
○ Prophet will never mislead saints
Fourth, individual members of the Church may receive revelation for their own callings and areas of responsibility and for their own families. They may not receive spiritual instruction for those higher in authority.
○ Only receive revelation for your own stewards
Fifth, those who claim direct revelation from God for the Church outside the established order and channel of the priesthood are misguided. This also applies to any who follow them.
○ Those who claim own revelation are misguided
