Extensor carpi radialis longus
'' '' '' brevis
Extensor carpi ulnaris
'' '' digitorum
Where is the anatomical snuffbox?
On the lateral surface of the wrist
Boundaries-1. laterally-tendons of extensor pollicus brevis and abductor pollicus brevis
2. Medially- tendon of the extensor pollicus longus

Anterior muscle of abdomen
rectus abdominis
function-flexes spine and constricts abdomen
both obliques rotate and flex the trunk
Anterior muscles of abdomen
External Oblique
Internal Oblique
Transversus abdominis(compress abdomen)
Posterior muscles of abdomen
(prevertebral muscles)
1. Psoas(flexor of thigh and trunk)
2. Iliacis(flexor of thigh and trunk)
3. Quadratus lumborum(flexor of spine and trunk, accessory muscle of respiration
Diaphragm (principle muscle of respiration).
Postvertebral and true back muscles.

Vascular profunda femoris
Sciatic nerve facts:
1. The sciatic nerve(L4, L5, S1, S2, and S3, composed of common peroneal nerve and tibial nerve, bound together by fascia.
2. No branches in gluteal region.
3. In posterior thigh, the muscular branch(tibial) supplies the hamstrings.
4. Hamstrings= biceps femoris/semitendinus/semimembranus/adductor magnus.
5. Halfway down thigh, sciatic nerve divides into tibial and common peroneal nerve.
