|
Mandatory service is any time spent by an employee in a railroad related activity that requires the employee to perform service for the railroad as a condition of employment

What is extended rest?
|
Extended rest will apply for any time on duty over 12 hrs. So a Yard job that never deadheads during their tour of duty and works a total of 12 hrs and 15 minutes will require 10 hours and 15 minutes of undisturbed time. So there are occasions where rest will be extended, even if there was no limbo time incurred.
