Research & Planning.
My skills have developed from my prelim task to my final product. I feel like i am now able to research in to the correct areas and take detailed information about specific areas without going off topic. i feel as though i have improved my time keeping skills. Although sometimes this has been hard and i have had to get over obstacles in my way. For example i have had to rearrange my article photo shoot 3 times.

What Benefit Has This Had On My Work?
I have been able to research in to other products which have made me able to create my own product which goes in line with the forms and conventions of professional products. I have been able keep to my set deadlines. However since i have had to reschedule my work time throughout due to the changing of my photo shoot date for my article this make it difficult at times to continue with other parts of the production side.

From my prelim task to my final product, i feel as though i have made great improvement in what my products look like, for example i created a product which is more in line with professional practise as i have been able to have a more detailed understanding of the forms and conventions of real media products.

Before i started my prelim, i knew very little about the magazine industry or even how to create a product which included professional qualities. Now however i have learnt throughout how to create a product which meets professional practise.

Construction: Comparing Prelim To Final Product.
For my prelim task my skills were very weak and i found it hard to use many of the programs such as photo shop. It was very new to me to use this software. However as i had, had practise while completing my prelim task i was able to go in to my final product knowing exactly what i wanted to create and how todo that.

Throughout both prelim and final production i learnt how to take professional looking photos. i was able to do this with the use of studio which gave me professional lighting and a background on which i took my front cover photos on.
i also used programs such as indesign, this software was used in creating my contents and double page spread this program taught me how to create a professional looking layout with the use of grid lines and presentation features included in the software.

As you can see my prelim task is not up to standard and is very basic. The font is all over the place and it does not look appealing. The colour scheme does not stick to a colour pallet which is very suitable. However my final one uses eye catching fonts and a colour pallet which is shown throughout my 4 pages.

My contents page for my prelim is basic again, using a white background. i learnt how to align my text, which i used in both my prelim and my final product.
I also learnt that it is important that to text to photo ratio is a mixture of both. It should not be all text and it should not be just photos.
using the appropriate setting for my photographs to be taken in is also a very important park of construction. I had to use my primary research in order to create photos which would appeal to my target audience.
