Con technique
victim is conned into being vulnerable enough to be raped. Rapist is charming, confident, articulate, and planned to rape using an opportunity

Blitz technique
quick, typically outdoors, stranger to stranger, rapist grabs victim suddenly takes them behind a building and rapes them. Victim is symbolic of someone else to the rapist
Surprise technique
typically used by a Manhood Reassurance Rapist, victim is unaware that someone else is in thier house. Rapist hides in house and waits for them to be vulnerable (asleep), then rapes them. Rapist may threaten to harm victim's children so victim consents to rape.

Manhood Reassurance Rapist
"Peeping Tom", watches victim and becomes sexually aroused. Will target people close to them in proximity, of the same race and around the same age. Usually not violent because rapist sees victim as his girlfriend and is polite and apologetic. Takes a sovenior to remind himself of his romantic experience. Victim may be able to negotiate out of sexual behavior. Assaults to REASSURE HIMSELF OF HIS OWN MASCULINITY.
Manhood Assertive Rapist
Rapist does not doubt his masculinity or sexual abilities. Wants to assert dominance and control over victim. Will look for someone who looks vulnerable, may rape multiple people over a short period of time. No negotiating, may be a prolonged attack. May use a con approach. Will take a trophy to remind himself that he won and was dominant over his victim.
Anger Retaliatory Rapist
Engages in sexual assault to "get even" with women. Sexual assault is his weapon, he wants to punish and degrade them. Attack is quick, blitz attack, stressor has occur in rapist's life right before his attack, but may rape at any point when he is angry. Tends to target women that symbolize women they hate. May use alcohol or drugs to help them commit the attack. May use a knife and be extremely violent, will inflict pain and rape victim, bondage and torture.
Anger Excitation
Rapist experience arousal from the victim's response to pain and suffering. Will look for a victim of opportunity, plan rape, and bring a rape kit. Is a sado-masicist (inflicts pain on victim and may want victim to inflict pain on him), history of domestic violence. Has many characteristics of antisocial personality disorder. Brutal force, bondage, and uses objects in sexual assault (rocks, twigs).

Rape occurs impulsively and is opportunistic, not planned. May plan to rob a house but find a woman sleeping and decide to rape her as well. History of law offenses, not necessary assault.

Involves fantasy about sexual activity with kids, seducer can identify children with emotional or psychological needs and target them (try to gain their trust by gaining their friendship until the child is vulnerable enough to be seduced). Seducer gives child needed attention that children would otherwise not be getting.
Employment opportunities for a preferential seducer...
A job that would put them in immediate contact with kids = priest, rabbi
Preferential Introvert
An offender who doesn't have the social or interpersonal skills to seduce a child. Does fantasize about sex with children. Waits for an opportunity where the child is left alone and snatches / abducts them to rape or assault them. History of obscene phone calls. May ask a prostitute to dress up like a child.
Preferential Sadist
Most likely to kill child because it is part of their sexual fantasy. Tends to prefer young children (vulnerable because they can't defend themselves). May live with or marry someone who has a child that fits their fantasy.
Situational Pedophile
Prefers adult relationships, takes advantage of situations when a child is available, externalize behavior, curious
Situational Regressed
Poor social skills, don't cope well with stress, low self-esteem, immature child serves as a substitute for an adult relationship, would watch adult (regular) pornography
Situational Morally Indiscriminate
No sense of what is right or wrong, abusive, hard to get along with, cheat, looks for vulnerable children, watches adult sadomasochistic porn, only wants to please themselves
Situational Sexually Indiscriminate
try-sexual (will try anything), easily bored and look for a way to entertain themselves, sex with a child relieves boredom.
Situational Inadequate
Shy and withdrawn, doesn't seem to fit in, fear rejection by an adult sexual partner, hasn't developed their own sexual personality so they use children to explore their sexuality.
Heterosexual Nurturer
Females who target male victims. Female is a caregiver, there is trust between her and her victim. Nurturer did not perceive harm, they saw it as a romance. Female has unmet social, sexual, and psychological needs. Relatively low likelihood of re-offending.
Non-Criminal Homosexual
Female offenders who target female victims in early adolescence (around 13 yrs old). Similar to heteronurturers, gender preference is the difference. Positions of trust.
Female Sexual Predators
Female targets male or female victims. Have a criminal history. Offense against child may coincide with another crime. Victim age 11. High probability of re-offending.
Young Adult Child Exploiters
Offender is about 28 years old, will engage in sexual assault (as compared to oral sex or fondling). Male and female victims. Average age of victim is 7.

Victim age 11, will engage in prostitution or pornography

Simple Obsessional
Prior relationship, stalker has elements of narcissistic personality disorder and cannot accept rejection. 5 months+. Damages victim's property.
False Victimization
Vengeance stalkers, stalker is angry at someone and claims person is stalking them.
