After choosing a main image you are able to create hotspots within it to add on your information which you will then capture with Screenr. (For assistance with creating your PSA using Thinglink, Please access the Thinglink Quick-Start Guide.)Glogster: Allows you to create interactive posters with text, graphics, videos, music and more. After choosing a poster (Glog) template you are able to incorporate your media and build out an interactive poster which you will then capture with Screenr. (For assistance with creating your PSA using Glogster, please access the Glogster Quick-Start Guide.)Prezi: Allows you to create a presentation with images and text with interactions and motion. After choosing a template you are able to incorporate your media and build out an interactive Prezi which you will then capture with Screenr. (For assistance with creating your PSA using Prezi, please access the Prezi Quick-Start Guide.)Remember, regardless of the mode in which you create your presentation of materials, visuals can be very important powerful (think about some popular Public Service Announcements you’ve seen on TV recently) – use them wisely!Your visual presentation must include information which will address the following:What is Postpartum Depression? Analyze and comment on at least one of the following interactions of the major themes as factors influencing the developmental physical, cognitive and psychosocial outcomes for the mother, father/partner, and infant:Health and Well-Being Family and Parenting Education Culture and Gender How can Postpartum Depression influence the short- and long-term development of the infant?Address the physical, cognitive, and psychosocial domains of development? Provide at least one local and one wide-ranging (i.e. internet or phone) resource that someone with Postpartum Depression, or someone with a loved one suffering from Postpartum Depression, can access to find more information and/or get help.Include all relevant information on how to contact each resource.Once you have completed your interactive Thinglink, Glogster, or Prezi, create a script for a 60-second Public Service Announcement (PSA) on Postpartum Depression which directly addresses and includes the information listed above. Then, utilize http://www.screenr.com to record your interactive presentation with your own voiceover as a PSA. Please see the Screenr, Glogster, Prezi, and Thinglink quick-start guides for initial help with your PSA. Keep in mind - 60 seconds goes very quickly. Incorporate all of the information in a succinct and straightforward manner while remaining encouraging and positive as you share your learning with others (it is a PSA, after all!).
