SIDE-ANGLE-SIDE
If two sides and the included angle of a triangle are congruent to two sides and the corresponding included angle of another triangle, then the triangles are congruent.
ANGLE-SIDE-ANGLE
If two angles and the included side of a triangle are congruent to the two angles and corresponding included side of another triangle, then the triangles are congruent.
SIDE-SIDE-SIDE
If three sides of a triangle are congruent to the corresponding three sides of another triangle, the the triangles are congruent.
ANGLE-ANGLE-SIDE
If two angles and a non included side of a triangle are congruent to the corresponding two angles and non-included side of another triangle, then the triangles are congruent.
HYPOTENUSE-LEG
*Only applies to right triangles*

If the hypotenuse and leg of one right triangle are congruent to the hypotenuse and leg of another right triangle, then the triangles are congruent.
Which combinations DO NOT WORK to prove congruency?
ANGLE-ANGLE-ANGLE (AAA)

ANGLE-SIDE-SIDE (ASS)

SIDE-SIDE-ANGLE (SSA)

*these ONLY prove similarity
