General Rule about sellers of personal property
Seller can transfer no better title than he has
Exception to gneral rule about sellers of propery
If the seller has voidable title (obtained via fraud, misrepresentation, or duress) he can transfer good title to a good faith purchaser.

BUT a bonafide purcahser from a thief takes no title.

To be a BFP, you must have no actual notice of the seller's wrongful title nor have any inquiry notice (reasonable person would make inquiry and find out)
