Creating Pages

Master Slide

a slide containing the default presentation details for each slide.

an element in an electronic document that links to another place in the another or the same document. It is identified by using an anchor. Hyperlinks can be created through text, images or hotspots.

Hotspot

a number of areas within an image can be allocated each a different URL

Cascading Style Sheets

a separate file that can be shared across multiple web pages to help provide a consistent look across a website

Spreadsheet Software

type of application software used for data handling, especially numerical and statistical

What-If Analysis

used to see the effect of changing some parameters on related parameters

a technique used to automatically change the values in a formula until a desired result is achieved.

Forecasting

a technique used to calculate or predict a future value based on existing values

returns one value if a condition you specify is TRUE and another if it is FALSE

Nested IF Functions

a technique used to test a conditional formula within more than two possible outcomes (an IF inside an IF)

COUNT Function

counts the number of cells that contain numbers within a range

COUNTIF Function

counts the number of cells within a range that meet the given criteria

Macros

a sequence of instructions that can be used to automate complex or repetitive tasks.

Creation and Use of Macros

can be created by using a macro record or by programming them using a scripting language.


When required, they can be run using a menu or by accessing a keyboard shortcut.
