Where would you go to find accurate drawings of the Power 1 Electrical System?
Power 1 SEOLD book
Explain the checks made on a GSU transformer?
Bushing oil level, fans setting check, space heater on/off, ETM Liquid and winding temperature, liquid temperature, Desiccant color, oil leaks.
Explain the checks made on a 15KV or below transformer?
Internal pressure, liquid oil and / or winding temperature, transformer and / or conservator oil level, oil leaks, fan check.
Explain how to rack out a fuji breaker?
Ensure the breaker is open, turn off DC power, insert the key into the interlock switch, rack breaker out, check stabs to ensure it is open, place the key on the control room handle.
Explain how to rack out a ACB?
Ensure the breaker is open, turn off DC power, bypass the low pressure alarm switch, move the breaker interlock handle to the isolate position, crank out the disconnects, rotate the interlock handle to the test position, turn and remove the key, block and bleed to air from the receiver. Place the key on the control room handle.
Explain how you would determine the source of an AC ground?
Go to the buss with the ground. Check the ground detection panel, if it doesn't indicate a ground simply reset it and the multilin on that bus. If the ground is present, locate the breaker with a ground detection reading and that equipment will need to be shut off one at a time working at the direction of the control room until the alarm clears indicating that the equipment you shut off is the source of the ground. once the ground is located and eliminated the panel should be reset as well as the multimilin on that bus.
Explain how to determine the source of an AC ground at ST5?
check ground indicators, ensure the voltage is between preset limits which are marked on the indicator, if it is found inside of these parameters but alarm is in, it can be reset by pushing reset if it is found outside of these parameters, locate grounded equipment by switching equipment off at control room operators direction until the needle is back and its parameters. Then it can be reset.
Who must be present to rack out of 15 kV breaker?
FER
What must be verified prior to racking out a ST 5 air disconnect?
Ensure the breakers on each side of the air disconnect are open.
What does MCC stand for?
Motor control center
What is an 86? What do the following stand for?
86's are trip devices in electrical systems.

86G - Generators.

86 T - Turbine.

86E - Electrical.
