On lat. upper arm, 3 cun below anter. end of axilla on radial side of biceps brachii. (Rember distance btwn axillary & cubital creases is 9 cun, divide into thirds, Lu3 is at junction of upper third & lower two thirds in depression formed by radial side of biceps brachii and humerus
Lu 4
One cun below Lu3, 4 cun below axilla. (Rmbr the distance from axillary and cubital creases is 9 cun, find midpoint, move superiorly .5 cun to depression formed by radial side of biceps brachii and humerus.
LU-5
With elbow slightly bent, point is on the cubital crease on radial side of tendon of biceps brachii.
Location Hint for Lu 3-5
Lu3 is 3 down from axilla, plus 1 cun more to Lu 4...4 cun from axilla to 4, then 5 is down 5 cun more. (total of nine cun from axilla to cubital elbow crease) 3 cun, 4 cun, + 5 more to Lu5
LU -6
On palmar side of forearm, on line connecting Lu-9 (at radial end of transverse crease of wrist) and Lu-5 (on radial side of biceps tendon at transverse cubital crease), 7 cun above transverse crease of wrist. (Rmbr distance from transverse wrist crease and transverse cubital crease is 12 cun, find midpoint and move proximally 1 cun to Lu-6.

Superior to styloid process of radius, 1.5 cun above transverse crease of wrist. (Place thumb and middle finger on each styloid process, place index finger on styloid process and slide index finger superiorly until a depression is felt. Point is here)
