Maximum Tire Speed (groundspeed)?
182 Knots
Minimum runway field length?
5000'
The use of reverse thrust is not used in computing required landing distances with the exception of landing on contaminated runways.

Per Part 121 regulations: cross threshold at 50' and use no more than 60% of available landing field length.
Critical Engine Failure Speed?
Vef- The speed at which, if the critical engine fails, the engine failure is recognized at V1.
Minimum Drag Speed?
Vmd- The speed referenced in holding charts to provide the maximum time aloft during a hold.
What is XTOG?
Max Takeoff Gross Weight, it is the most restrictive of the RTOG's.
What is RTOG?
Regulatory Takeoff Gross Weight, it is the most restrictive of Runway limit, Climb Limit & Structural Limit.

RTOG is never more than 53,000lbs.
When calculating the Max landing gross weight, the wet runway landing must be included when?
-The runway is wet or slippery (not required for an alternate)
-Vis <4000RVR or 3/4 mile.
What are the two types of takeoff rolls used?
Static- Thrust to 70% while holding brakes, once stabilized, release brakes and set thrust prior to 60KIAS

Rolling- Application of target takeoff thrust prior to 60KIAS, may be used RTOG and V1 are based on rolling takeoff.
What does MGL stand for?
Max Gross Load Performance Program. Reference CFM 8-18.
When is a reduced thrust (FLEX) takeoff prohibited?
-Anti-skid must be operative in order to do a FLEX.
-Contaminated runways
-Wing and/or anti-icing bleeds in use
-Windshear
-engine cannot achieve full rated thrust
-when Special Departure Procedure specifies full thrust for takeoff
-if normal takeoff fan speed is <85% N1
Vmcg ?
Min controllable speed on the ground, with one eng inop & takeoff thrust on the other, using aerodynamic controls only for directional control
Vref ?
1.3 times the stalling speed in the landing configuration. This is the required speed at the 50-foot height above the threshold end of the runway.
Vlof ?
- Loft off speed. The speed at which the airplane becomes airborne
Vfto (Vt) ?
Final segment climb speed, which is based upon one-engine inoperative climb, clean configuration, and max cont thrust setting.
What defines a contaminated runway?
Ref CFM Ch.8-57
Standing water, slush, or loose snow; considered contaminated when more than 25% of the runway surface area is covered by more than 3mm (1/8”) of standing water or its equivalent in slush, ice, snow (wet or dry), frost or by water
What is Static Air Temperature? (SAT)
CFM 8-14
In flight, SAT = OAT
What is Total Air Temperature? (TAT)
CFM 8-13
Static Air Temperature + adiabatic compression (ram) rise
