What is Theism?
-God is the central idea
-God does not depend on the world, the world is dependent on God
-Man is made in the image of God
-Man is responsible to him
What is Pantheism?
-God is everything and everything is God
-The world is an overflowing of God
-Man seams real but is not really real. An allusion.
What is Naturalism?
-A naturalist would reject the idea of a creator God.
-Man is a part of nature, unguided from evolution.
-None believe we have a purpose.

metaphysical naturalism- w.v. is the nature
Philosophical Ideas: Type 1
Single Ideas. Ex: God, Justice, Beauty.
Phil. Ideas: Type 2
Basic beliefs or theories about type 1 phil. ideas.
Ex: The belief that God exists, that beauty is subjective.
Phil. Ideas: Type 3
These are implications of type 2 phil. ideas.
Ex: If beauty is subjective, then anything at all can be beautiful.
What is an empirical question?
any question that we can answer just by looking at the world.
what is a philosophical question?
any question that we cannot answer just by looking at the world. To answer such a question we must use our skills in philosophy.
