What is the difference that Paley sees between the stone and the watch?
The watch and it's several parts were put together for purpose and that on initial observation a stone would seemingly be lacking in this regard.
What do you think Paley is comparing the watch to when he asks us to imagine that this particular watch has the ability to reproduce?
nature
Does Paley believe that there can be design without a designer?
"There can not be a design without a designer."
What object does Paley compare the eye to?
telescope
The study of a given phenomenon in terms of its end or purpose.
teleology
Does Darwin use the term ‘Struggle for Existence’ in a univocal, literal way?
No. "I should premise that I use the term Struggle for Existence in a large and metaphorical sense."
Do your best to explain how the Struggle for Existence comes about.
The "Struggle for Existence" come about through genetic lineage that edge any species "forward" to help them adapt to an environment.
Does Darwin believe that species have not changed over time?
His "Branching tree of life" diagram would suggest otherwise.
Darwin suggests that through the process of evolution, organisms gain features that help them adapt to an environment. Come up with your own example of a trait or feature that a particular organism has which helps it survive in given environment.
The human brain has developed in such a way that it allows us to overcome our physical shortcomings comparatively speaking, and has allowed us to adapt to multitudes of different environmental conditions that would be arguably vastly superior to any other species on the planet.
