must be filled within 7 days from date it was originally written for. Cannot be refilled.

What is the time limitations for schedule III, IV, V?

must be filled within 6 months from the date it was originally written. May be refilled up to 5 times within a 6-month period.

What is the time limitations for non controlled medications?

must be filled within 1 year from date written and may be refilled up to 12 months
